Mrs. Hadden, was Ngoc Jade Phan, until she married a poor but wealthy at heart man named Ethan Hadden. She lived in Sitka, Alaska when she passed away at age 66. Mrs. Hadden had a fulfilling life despite her tenacious background. She only has one child of her own named Taylor Caroline Hadden. After high school, Ngoc went to college at Texas Tech University where she got her doctor’s degree in Health Science and a major’s degree in Psychology. Throughout her college years she worked at a nursing home and volunteered at the foster care once every week. She lived in Lubbock, Texas with her husband as an Engineer and had her first child at the age of 28.

She wasn’t very close to anyone in her family or friends since college but she visits twice a year to see her mom, sister, and brother. Ngoc was in love with traveling and tend to go every year. The word love wasn’t used very often for her and she tend to get depressed over her past. Throughout her life she has only 2 serious relationships. One was in high school with a guy name Isaiah Basom, and Ethan Hadden. Isaiah is now an automotive engineer and he was considered her ‘first love’. Due to distance and school they both split and that has caused her a dramatic turn in her life. She was a workaholic and never had free time ever since.
As an adult, Ngoc became more wise and personality has became very kind but often paranoid. She finished her second book, also her last called The Summer of Forgiveness. Both of her books are very popular and soon became a film. She was successful and at the age of 40 she was head of the charity foundation in America. Taylor, her daughter took over the foundation at age 23 to help out. She is now working with the foster kids and teaching at an Elementary school in Alaska. A girl in her class, Jamie Lynn, has a heart disease that was very severe. At the age of 65 she has conclude that she will donate her heart to
