Carter Thell/Bullying is the fastest growing trend among teens. It is horrible to be bullied. One time a kid in 2nd grade called a classmate fat so the victim felt like he could not wear any tight shirts or they would make fun of his bellie. There are many reasons why bullying happens. Megan Meier is one of the saddest anecdotes about cyberbullying. In order for things to change bullying prevention needs to take place to make this world a safer place for kids.

There are many reasons why people bully victims. For instance, the bully feels powerless. If your mom and dad abuse them everyday when they are home the bully feels he has to gain back his power by bullying. Some kids see others at school bullying and they think their status increase up if they bully. They also think they will be in a popular clique. Another reason kids bully is because they are jealous of a person. Most of the time girls are jealous over a boy which causes the tormenting to begin. Josh Evans, the 16 year old that Megan Meier thought was hot on his profile picture. First, she got a friend request from a boy named Josh Evans. Then she asked her mom if she could confirm the request on her MySpace account. Her mom says she could confirm the request. So they we talking for about a month and then the hash comments came on her. The hash comment cept on coming and coming. She got called a hore and got told to kill her selves and all of this is by Josh Evans. On October 16, 2006 Megan's mom saw her in her closet with a rope around her neck and hanging there.
