The Unsolved Murders of Oklahoma!

In 1977, late April, At Oklahoma’s Camp Scott a councilor returned from a training session and found her stuff strewn. Her doughnuts were gone but there was a paper inside of her empty doughnut box. She took the paper out and noticed that in was a hand written note. In this note the person who wrote it vowed to murder three of the campers. This councilor didn’t take the note seriously because she thought it was a prank, since they are common at camps.

In the early morning of June 13, one of the camp councilors, Carla Emery, was walking to the showers when she noticed a body at a fork in the trail. She discovered that it was the body of young Denise Milner. She had a towel and a rope wrapped around her neck. In June 1966 Hart worked at Flint Steel in Tulsa. On one workday, he did not show up at his job. He drove his car, the trunk of which was covered with fresh newspapers, to a popular nightclub area often called “The Corner of Dreams.” From the parking lot of the Fondalite Club, he kidnapped two young pregnant women. One rode in the trunk and the other in the passenger side. In addition to both being pregnant, both wore eyeglasses. Hart tried on the spectacles of the woman riding in the passenger side.

He had the women trade places. He tried on the eyeglasses of the second woman. Hart drove his car into a wooded area where he raped and forcibly sodomized both women. He bound the women, even duct taping their nostrils, and left them to suffocate to death under leaves and debris. The victims broke the bonds and freed themselves.

In April 1978, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation checked a house near the area of Bunch, Oklahoma. They arrested Hart and he was charged with three murders. When Hart was caught he was found wearing women’s
