Spoke to Vivian Ortiz (DOB 6/20/75) who stated that her juvenile son (16 years old), Elijah Perez (DOB 7/3/99), was being destructive and threw things around the house when she asked him to turn off the oven after he used it. Ortiz stated Perez had been diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder and he had not been taking his medication or to his therapy. Ortiz also mentioned that she opened the case with DYFS to evaluate him and the case was still opened. Ortiz stated that Perez threw some baseball cards, laundry bin, trashes and made mess inside of the refrigerator. We weren’t able to speak with Perez as he walked out of the house prior to our arrival.

I responded to Troy Regional Medical Center in reference to an assault call. Upon arrival, I made contact with Roseline Jackson in room 9. Jackson stated that her and her baby daddy got into a physical altercation around 13:00 on this date. Jackson stated that she was picking their son up from Bean mother house and that’s when Bean asked to borrow her car. Bean got mad because Jackson wouldn’t let him use it.
Abstract On July 23, 1995, Janet Downing was found stabbed to death in her Somerville, Massachusetts home. With strong compelling evidence and creditable eyewitness testimony, Edward O’Brien was arrested for Downing’s murder. O’Brien was only fifteen years old and good friends with Downing’s son Ryan at the time of the murder. The first initial hearing judged that O’Brien would be tried as a juvenile, however this judgment would later be reversed.

In November of 2014, a man, Gary Fellenbaum, and his girlfriend, Jillian Tait Thursday, are charged with murdering the girlfriend’s 3-year old son. Authorities were called under the false pretense of an unresponsive child, when EMTs arrived, 3-year old Scott McMillan was reported to have suffered from bruises, lacerations, and puncture wounds all over his body. Fellenbaum, Tait, and Fellenbaum’s wife, Amber, confessed to police, “…that the little boy had been beaten with blunt and sharp objects, whipped, taped to a chair with electrical tape and beaten, hung up by his feet and beaten, leading to his death.” (Unknown).
