She has always been pleasant to me and never rude. I really appreciate this. Not everyone in our grade is so amazing to other people, so if I were to choose a characteristic I would say she is considerate of other people and thinks of other people before herself. Honestly, I wish I could be more like this.
This characteristic can help youth have a sense that their voice matters and is heard, and then, one of my personal experiences is when she said, “I will take that into consideration,” This was important because it showed that she heard my words and learned from them, this proves why my reason of why she deserves the Jefferson award is a valid reason. Another person said this about their personal experience, my parents said, “I remember she always had her eyes on us and when she didn't she told us that she would be back in a moment.” This proves my reason because it showed that she did listen to my parents and not just me.
The definition of a woman's freedom is never truly free. In an article, author Edward M. Kennedy, wrote “Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act of 1994,” published in May of 1994. He argues that the groups of pro-life people gathering outside and blocking abortion clinics from women has gotten out of hand. Kennedy beginning to build his credibility with images and reputable sources, citing both statistics and persuasive facts, and is successfully reaching the readers emotional appeals throughout the article. This is especially when towards the end when Kennedy begins stating reliable statistics to reach the readers emotions one more time to really strengthen his argument.
It is with great pleasure I submit my recommendation in support of one of my most talented and bright students, Emily Lozano. As I write this letter, Emily Lozano is my student in English 12 Honors: Senior English Literature, at NOVA Academy Early College High School in Coachella, California. As her English teacher since August 2016, I can confidently say both her attitude and attention towards her school work is fitting of the title of “honors.” In addition to a positive, professional attitude, she also currently holds straight “A” marks in all of her academic coursework.
Because of her previously mentioned moral and ethical standards, she often confronts compromise on the part of her friends and fellow students. On numerous occasions she has endured the ridicule and snubs of her peers for living a life of high moral integrity. Through it all, she has overcome these obstacles and continually demonstrated an ability to set herself apart for higher goals and aspirations. She also purposed to learn to fend for herself in the work world, starting her own business at the age of thirteen (pressing clothes) and babysitting. Since then, she has worked continuously, both in our School in various capacities and in the
It is with great excitement that I recommend Jane Doe for the scholarship offered through Michelin and Tire Industry Association. I have had the pleasure of teaching Jane for the last 2 years in Publications and this year in 12th grade Language Arts. Jane is an incredible young lady and motivated student and I have no doubt she will do amazing things in her future. I believe Jane is an asset to any team she joins due to her positive outlook, dedication to excellence, and passion for life and learning. From the moment I met Jane it became clear that she does not take the easy way out and is incredibly intrinsically motivated to achieve her goals.
As a middle school student, Edward has been involved in several school activities. He has participated in the school athletics program, musical theatre, PSIA, and Christian Fellowship of Athletes. In closing, I enthusiastically recommend that you consider Edward Briseno as a recipient of your merit scholarship. Edward will certainly be an asset to the freshman class and exemplify the qualities of young man from Central
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Sarah Cullimore. I have known Sarah for the past three years. I have coached her in cross country for three years, was her pre-calculus teacher and I am currently her calculus teacher. Having known Sarah since she was a sophomore, I have seen her personal growth both athletically and academically. Cross country challenges athletes mentally and physically.
This essay will express my dreams, my financial situation, and my intention on why I need this scholarship. To begin with, a week ago today I realized I want to be a 911 Dispatcher after I needed to call an ambulance for my sister. For starters, as I watched my sister scream in pain, hollering for the ambulance and I hastily called the 911 operator, I had one of those “epiphany moments”.
It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. Through my relentless hard work and perseverance, I believe that I possess the four characteristics of a National Honor Society member- leadership, service, character, and scholarship.
She is kind to all the people she comes across, and rarely goes against other people’s expectations
With my years of professional experience, along with my undergraduate education, I feel I have a great deal of knowledge and information to contribute the Elliott School, as well as my future classmates. In short, I would like to thank you for your time and consideration. I have no doubt that if you approve my application for admission that you will be as pleased with your decision as I will
She 's always being taken care of no matter the circumstances. Always being silly so she 's never reliable. One might say she 's to grown or "fast" for her own good. Never taken seriously so her opinions don 't matter. She is materialistic and wants everything just because she can get it.
This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for students of GVSU, and I am honored to be considered for this scholarship. I believe that I am a great applicant for this scholarship, and that I deserve this scholarship. One reason I deserve this scholarship is because of my strong academic courses. Throughout my high school career, I pushed myself academically by taking a total of 10 AP classes and 7 honors classes. These classes were all challenging, yet I pushed through with determination to complete the classes to the best of my ability.
