1. Prehistoric Implant of Usermontu
In 1995, Prof. Wilfred Griggs from Brigham Young University, Utah,had tremors down his legs when he found a nine-inch metal screw (Link 1-a) fitted in the knee of a mummy, while doing DNA studies of Egyptian sarcophagus and its contents. The username of the mummy was found to be Usermontu which belonged to an ancient Egyptian priest who lived 2,600 years ago. When investigated at length by Prof. Griggs (Link 1-b) along with a team of orthopedics, radiologists and metallurgists, it was concluded that the screw was as old as Usermontu and not a modern impalnt.
