The Healing Hands Hospital needs to rely on the revenue
I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be placed at your clinic as a student of Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant on the Rehab unit. I believe that the services you have to offer are incredibly unremarkable such acute care and specialized programs. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge about Trillium Health Care Hospital and what it has to offer. I am currently enrolled in semester two of the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant program at Humber College. My previous work at Etobicoke General Hospital as a Co-op student has given me the opportunity to get the hands-on experience that they do not offer at school.
Chauffeur companies are a brilliant idea for busy families. According to the article “Chauffeur Companies Cater to Children on the Go.” it says, “A growing number of families are relying on the services to move kids to and from school, after-school activities and other destinations.” These companies help children get to school, after school activities, and drop them off at home. This is very helpful for parents who are working and may not have time to take their children to the places that they need to go.
When it comes to children they may have an obsession or a compulsion that they are frequently doing or thinking about. One compulsion that a child may have is repetitive hand washing. The student may think that they are not clean and they will need to rewash their hands. The student will rewash their hands even though they just washed them. They may need to do this multiple times until they think that their hands are finely clean.
One of the assignments for the Introduction to Occupational Therapy is to select an article and write a review about it. The article that seized my interest is “Starting a Private Practice: The First Steps” by Tara J. Glennon. In this response paper, I am going to discuss about how to start a private own business. My discussion will include the fate of small businesses in the United States. However, this effect will less likely to impact potential occupational therapy practice entrepreneurs because of the higher demand of occupational therapy, and therapists in the future.

When going into the service learning project I did not know what to expect. I knew I would have to find the perfect way to communicate with other to get the best information possible. Asking questions about the process of choosing an EMR and problems that they had in the transition process was one of the topics I decided to further pursue. I was eager to learn how the clinic dealt with change and how it affected the environment of the clinic. I needed to ask different people in the clinic because though they used the same system, they each use a different part of the EMR, each for different reasons and for their particular job.
For my service learning project I had the opportunity to assist in the M.S. Century Bikeathon where I and another classmate traveled to Council Grove KS to greet all the participants as they made their way in after a one hundred mile bike ride. In this essay I will go over five important concepts that I observed while volunteering.
