In order to become a clinical geneticist, I will have to obtain my four year degree in a biological science, attend medical school for four years, and then finish a six year residency. If I did not have to take classes that were not directly associated with my major, I could finish my degree in two years. However, I firmly believe that a liberal arts education is important, thus why I am attending a liberal arts
The group hypothesized that if worms in a bottle had dirt, compost, oxygen, and a good environment they would survive, reproduce, and improve soil. The groups hypothesis was partially supported by this experiment. For one, most worms did not survive. By the end of the experiment 5 worms remained although the group started out with 27.
The familiarity that these courses will provide me with related medical school courses will aid me in acclimating to medical school more efficiently, and to perform at a superb academic level. Attending a medical school that is community-focused and that is service-oriented is what makes Morehouse a uniquely good fit. Morehouse will be gaining a student that is unquestionably passionate about medicine, highly motivated and ambitious, and that will take full advantage of utilizing all of his resources to succeed in medical
I then spoke with Dr. Shawn Williams and he gave me enlighten. He told me about the different jobs and how flexible this major was. The only problem I was facing was to choose clinical or management. I figured out then a year later to choose management. I still found myself struggling taking chemistry and biology.

Studying Biology and Chemistry prepared me for further independent study, and my substantial laboratory experience provided me the opportunity to interact with multiple scholars and experts in the field. Within my four years in college, I took pleasure in all my laboratory courses and have benefitted from a broad exposure to different laboratories and scientific techniques and equipment which are vital in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences field. My instructors taught me to look at scientific questions using a systematic approach that will serve me well in continuing my education and throughout my career. Deciding to major in Biology positively molded me into a more confident person and guided me to pursue a fascinating specialty, such as Clinical Laboratory
This test is called the Medical College Admission Test also known as the (MCAT). Because the acceptance rate to medical schools are so competitive you want to earn a bachelor 's degree. You then want to try to get volunteer or pay for health care experience. To have a higher success you can chose to join in on some extracurricular activities such as clubs or join in something that has a leadership role involved in. These steps can help you get into a medical college easier but once you get in you have to pass the MCAT.

This major is rich in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The only option after receiving your pre med degree is going to Med School or switching to nursing if you change your mind. The major focus is mostly on science with a little bit in Mathematics and Psychology. Pre-Med students have to take General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Calculus and Psychology. My major and career goals are to graduate from pre med with either A’s or B’s in my classes.
A biochemistry degree also can also give graduates access to specialized professional programs in genetic counselling, forensic sciences, biomedical engineering, and medical lab/imaging
Spring semester I put myself in two classes that I thought would be easier for me, such as a gym and a film studies course. I really do believe I showed more effort during this semester. I participated in the study groups that my biology course held after hours. Although I could only go to the sessions that were held when I did not have work. Holding another big problem I have, which is lacking the time to meet with professors during their office hours, although, upon request I could meet with them outside of those hours, but working two jobs made it very difficult to plan around.
The good thing about working in science is that nothing is impossible. Working in the medical industry will give purpose to my life as I would use my time to save lives and properly use the education acquired at Georgetown University to expand my current knowledge and be prepared for the future in this field. My education at Georgetown will not only prepare me to take the MCAT, but it will also allow me to compete amongst other students who want to share their skills and abilities in this field. I understand that many students want to pursue a path in the medical field and it is a career that requires a lot of dedication, but I believe I have enough determination and skills to complete my studies in this field and practice in the
Since I'm in the Allied Health and Medical Sciences field, I have taken some college courses such as Dynamics of Healthcare 1 and 2, History of the United States, Biology and Medical
