On 6/29/15, Ms. Wendy Sanders and Mr. Charles Ray Hamilton visited the DHR office. Ms. Sanders is interested in becoming Mr. Hamilton 's rep. payee and caregiver. According to Ms. Sanders, she needs somewhere to live because she recently moved to the Carbon Hill area after getting out of an abusive relationship. She has been cleaning Mr. Hamilton 's home getting it ready for her son who is 13 years old. Worker explained to Ms. Sanders how his grandchildren have caused problems in the past for people who have tried to help Mr. Hamilton.
On 7/20/2015 S/O EMT Perez was dispatched to MG-601 regarding a fall. S/O EMT Perez knocked and announced his presence at the door, when there was no answer S/ O EMT Perez annonced his presnece again and began to search the apartment. S/O EMT Perez found the resident, a Mrs. Doris Cotts on her bathroom floor by her toilet. Mrs.Cotts stated that she had slipped from her motorized scooter and fell onto the floor.
Tara Jones is a 16-year-old female who has been mandated by Alberdene County Court to Smith Center for Youth, residential facility, after running away from her current foster care placement with Ms. Judy Boot. Tara has come in involuntarily stating that she does not want to live in a residential facility and would rather hold residence with her maternal aunt, Sally Johnson. Tara feels that her behavior “is no big deal.” Smith Center for Youth will be closing and Tara will need to be transferred over to another residential facility, Tanner House. Her family therapist, Ida Dogoode, has behavioral concerns Tara that are present that lead to a questionable successful transfer.

People v. Porco 71 A.D.3d 791 (2010) People v. Porco is a murder case in which the defendant appealed the court erred in allowing the detective to testify about his mother. The defendant was convicted of second degree murder, and attempted murder of the second degree. The defendant attacked his parents with an axe while they were asleep in bed, killing his father, and attempting to kill his mother. The evidence used in trial was his mother’s affirmative nod to the detective to confirm that her son was the perpetrator while being treated by the paramedics. He also admitted at trial of other uncharged crimes that held similar means of execution and were disguised as break-ins.

San Luis, Arizona is a town mostly built by agricultural workers and located on the southwest corner of Arizona. It is a town rounded for fields and which economy is based on agriculture. Since it is a farming town, Cesar Chavez, who fought for farm workers’ rights, was a big influence on what we have today. Thanks to his work, farm workers had received better salaries and working conditions. I strongly believe the Cesar Chavez’s legacy is being forgotten and it should be more honored because of his work, impact in the community and because there are not many places honoring him.
