The Revolutionary War caused a stir throughout American history. However, something had to start the need for a revolution. It was a cause and effect and a cause and effect that led to one thing after another. The French-Indian War started because of France’s expansion into the Ohio Valley and soon resulted in the eventual collapse of Britain rule in the colonies/states. The British didn't like that the French were encroaching on “their” territory. This brought repeated conflict which ended in multiple battles and soon led to the war starting in 1756. The war continued on for seven years, which also was its namesake, Seven Years’ War. In 1763, a peace conference was held where the British received Canada from France and Florida from Spain.
