Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, but every equal and opposite reaction has their own as well. For example let's start with The Book Thief, when Liesel stole her first book at her brother's burial service, "The Gravedigger's Handbook". That made her steal more books and end up writing her own book, "The Book Thief", causing her to survive the bombing of Himmel Street, That’s cause and effect. Speaking of robbing, here's another example: Liesel and Rudy played soccer and went to the same school together. Then they became very good friends and stole together. Then she showed Papa her book and he ended up teaching her how to read and read her the book to her every night. This strengthened their relationship and they grew closer to each other. Here’s some more bonds that’s made between three of the characters I've introduced. Hans Huberman knew Erik Vanderburg through a war that they fought together in, and grew very close together. Unfortunately, Erik was killed during battle. Erik's son Max grew up and needed help in the time of war because he was a Jew. Max ended up living with the Hubermans and was sheltered from the Nazis. Mitch looks at Morrie as a teacher and as a father figure in my opinion, Liesal also looks at Hands in this way. “The feeling seems to be mutual, as Morrie gives Mitch a hug and tearfully says goodbye.” This statement from Tuesdays with Morrie makes me believe that there’s more than just a teacher and student bond between these two people and that it’s more of a father son moment. Of course Hans is Liesals foster dad so there's that but also he teaches her how to read. The reading “Choose The Good '' also has some similarities with The Book Thief. My favorite example would be Gene from Choose The Good’ is like Hitler in The Book Thief. People don’t like Gene’s ways but they have to put up with it anyways, Just like some Germans and most jews had
