Falling in love is a great risk, so is it worth it to fall in love at sight? In the play Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare tells a story where there are two feuding sides who have one child who fall in love. On one side a guy named Romeo who is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet, that meet at the Capulet’s ball and show love at first sight and want to marry soon after. But later there 's a big fight that ends up banishing Romeo so Friar Lawrence comes in and he has a plan where Juliet could be with Romeo and would get out of marrying Paris. But the wedding moves up and the plan isn 't updated so Romeo thinks Juliet is dead and kills himself and then Juliet kills herself because she can 't live without Romeo. Love is both powerful and destructive, which allows the reader to see Shakespeare’s belief that love is risky. Shown by the death of two lovers, in the end their love was powerful and strong leading them to kill themselves because they couldn’t bear being apart from one another.
Love is powerful because it can cause many resolutions, but also many conflicts. When Juliet sends the nurse to find out who she has fallen in love with, nurse comes back with Romeo’s name, and that he 's a Montague. Juliet feels saddened because he is from the opposite side of the two families feuding and that she is already in love with him so it is a very low chance they could ever be together. When Shakespeare writes,
My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen
