Obesity is an issue that has affected a lot of Americans, it can affect men, women, children, adults, and animals. Obesity is a condition that can make a person become extremely overweight. Jerry R Balentine, the author of “Obesity” has mentioned, “ Balance between calorie intake and energy expenditure determines a person's weight... If a person eats fewer calories than he or she metabolizes, he or she will lose weight, therefore the most common causes of obesity are overeating and physical inactivity” (Balentine). Las Vegas is best known as being a 24 hour city, it’s where casinos never close and the clubs are always blasting music. Since there are a lot of places being open, there has to be places where people are able to eat after a wild night of going out. Unfortunately, the only food that is being offered to people are fast food joints. Fast food joints are the only places that have food and are open twenty four hours for seven days a week. According to Michelle Alejandra Booth, the journalist of Las Vegas Review-Journal and author of “Childhood Obesity increasing Crisis”, has said “ With the local workforce being in the hotel industry, many parents work evenings and weekends and that inhibits the supervision of their children’s food intake” (Booth). When people get out of work at midnight or even later that night,
