The conflict of the Nez Perce war was when the United States Government wanted the Nez Perce Indians to move to reservations. Even though they didn't want to move to those reservations. So a small band of the Nez Perce fought back for their rights they had. This small little conflict slowly turned into a big war that had lasted for about four months in all. This conflict also took place in 1877 in Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Wyoming.
