The responsibilities of an employer and employee under health and safety legislation, was founded in 1974. Act 1974 is a law made to secure the health, safety, wellbeing of people at work and to prevent unnecessary risks. An employer’s responsibilities under health and safety legislation, requires the employer to be responsible for the health and safety of any person in their premises, which includes employees, customers, suppliers and the public. Employers should hire a certified person in charge of health and safety, however in small businesses that person is usually the owner or a trusted member of staff.
The physical domain of the country had its counterpart in me. The trails I made led outward into the hills and swamps, but they led inward also. And from the study of things underfoot, and from reading and thinking, came a kind of exploration, myself and the land. In time the two became one in my mind. With the gathering force of an essential thing realizing itself out of early ground, I faced in myself a passionate and tenacious longing— to put away thought forever, and all the trouble it brings, all but the nearest desire, direct and searching.
If you suspect abuse you must record what has lead to this suspicion, find out any information you can in order to help determine if this is the truth, you must inform other carers, your manager, the individuals care manager and the relevant authorities to ensure that this suspicion to be investigated as soon as possible. For example, an individual I care for with learning disabilities and epilepsy made a phone call to the organisation I work in around 10pm and informed me that she was going out, as it is her right to chose when and where she goes I could not tell her she could not do so, instead I asked where she was going, she informed me she was going to a party at a friends house, I then tried to obtain information about where her friends
underlying assumption that comes directly after the thought. The counselor and client can then break down what that assumption means to the client and whether or not it should be considered reasonable or distorted. Another method of approach is called “thought stopping” which teaches clients to stop automatic thoughts that keep running. It works by verbally saying stop or picturing a stop sign and force themselves to stop their train of thought. Roleplaying is another effective way to verbalize thoughts and challenge underlying assumptions, changing them into more positive thoughts, preventing catastrophizing or jumping to conclusions caused by cognitive distortions.

So how would the role of the extended family support my client group (children). I will use a secondary research of data from textbooks to research about informal carers.
Many people are supported in their homes by people who work along side the health and social care service such as social workers, nursers ,doctor and care givers or they may get support from their family members and friends. An elderly person may choose to stay in their own homes instead of a residential care home while seeking help and support from others, however this can lead to potential opportunities for abuse happening to the person who Is being looked after. When an individual is getting support at home by a carer, the individual being cared for is vulnerable and defenseless and therefor this makes them a target for abuse, another example is abuse by strangers, when an elderly person lives alone they are at risk of people calling at the door and then gaining access to their homes, they may steal items from them or mistreat them or cause intimidation. A person who is vulnerable and living alone are at risk of physical and sexual because there is no one there to stop this abuse from happening.

Values, skills, attitudes, importance of knowledge, ethics of professionalism and many other requirements are necessary for healthcare professionals. Two of these necessary requirements are discussed and their merits are presented. Reflective practice and how important it is for health care professionals is also outlined.
1. Even with our medical advances, the United States ranks 29th because of lack of health care for some individuals but also the lifestyle Americans have. Another reason is that class statuses correspond with our health outcomes. What I meant about this, is that lower and middle class individuals are exposed to more health threats than higher class. This is the connections between healthy bodies and healthy bank accounts and race/ethnicity.
By establishing a worker/client relationship, this will provide Laura with a secure base to operate from in the future. She will be able to confidently explore her historical, current, and future relationship with her mother knowing that she can receive comfort and reassurance from me, her social worker. Once she recognizes this secure base, I will assist her in discovering how she currently handles her relationship with her mother. During this relational discovery process with her mother, I will also allow her to explore her relationship with me, showing Laura how her previous ways of dealing with others could be positively changed through the change of her various internal behavioral models. Through this social worker and client relationship exploration, Laura will discover how her current perceptions of her mother are connected to expectations from their relationship when she was a child, providing her the opportunity to view the current relationship differently.
Rational for the observations The rational for using these observations retrospectively is to make sense of the whole person Amy’s life history, looking over her notes, why had she not engaged historically? Why the resistance? I wanted to understand how and why this was happening not just respond to the immediate crisis, rehouse and decontaminate her home for the behavioural pattern to be repeated. This method allowed me to explore theories of human growth and development and evaluate them with criticality (Monette et. 2014).

This is as to how the social worker and the population interact. It involves the people making sense in their interaction. This theory enables the social worker to study the behaviour of the people he or she is involved with. This is demostrated on her role as a consellor and educator.
A2d: SMART Leadership Development Goals In order to be a more effective leader, I need to develop my professional interpersonal skills. Specifically, I need to develop assertiveness, a new and more positive outlook on employee recognition, and a better manner in which to confront disgruntled employees or customers. My estimated time of completion of this goal will be two months. At this time, I will measure my success by conducting a mock trial that entails scenarios that involve communicating with others.
