A teen girl from South Carolina had been missing for 10 days, the last time anyone had seen her was on her way home from school. Police had searched but the whole time she was in a 15 foot bunker held captive by an accused sex offender. The man that held her captive had a cell phone, when he was sleeping the teen was able to page her mom. This one text saved her life. We can even benefit from others having phones. I believe that cell phones can do so many positive things which out number the risk of them in the long run. This technology is crazily one of the best scientific inventions of our time. A large amount of evidence shows that cell phones have saved many lives. Researchers from the University of Michigan recently landed in Honduras to conduct a study on cell phones and diabetes. Anatomy Inc. tells us that the everyday human that owns a smartphone is already smarter and more up to date than a human with a cellphone or no cellphone. They say that this is true because when a person is given an opportunity to read the news on something they have every second or look something up whenever they want to, they gain the intellegence and can rely on it. In contrast to someone who doesnt have this resource they must go to a local computer or library and most people dont even think it is worth it, or forget what they were wondering about by the time they have the resource. In conclusion we can all agree that cellphones can save lives and they do every single day. They also can keep us in touch with our loved ones and give us opportunities to meet new people and expierience new things. And lastly every human that owns a cellphone is smarter and more reliable.
