As stated in the constitution we have many freedoms from religion to assembly. But in my opinion the most important one is freedom of speech. Does that mean I believe in using that to do bad. No. However, I also believe that it gives you the chance to have your own opinion on something. So you asked the question, "Should schools be able to keep tabs on students’ social media to prevent internet bullying." And I believe, no, a school should not have access to a student’s social media. I do, however, think that parents should pay closer attention to what kids are doing on social media. I say this because there are bad websites. For example, there is a website that people can buy guns on without a background check. There is an even worse website where you can buy plastic guns that work just like real guns but have no serial number so they cannot be tracked. And of course everyone knows about the dark web. So for people using these websites I would say, yes, it should be monitored. However, on the other hand as I said above we have many freedoms. And to take away the freedom to post what you want and search what you want would not be the American way. Who am I to speak for free speech and then tell people they can't have all those freedoms on the internet. So this is a tricky question for me to answer. There are many strong arguments for both sides. The next question I would like to touch upon is, does the U.S. government really monitor what we do on the internet? There are many acts and laws that prohibit a company or website from monitoring what we do online. But there are many rumors that companies like Amazon and Facebook do monitor your activity. This is a topic I do not know a lot
