On April 19, 1989 a women was severally beaten and raped in New York, Central Park. During the 1980's there was racial tensions among the citizens of New York City. Furthermore, crimes are at a all time high and are very common during this time. A crack epidemic is also occurring. At the time of the crime, multiple boys were spotted in Central Park. Individuals describe the boys as black and Hispanic boys causing mischief. The boys, of two different racial groups, are fourteen and sixteen years old. Before the time of the accident, the boys were beating up multiple individuals around the park and running around. It is described that they were "wilding." There are video taped confessions of the boys saying they did it. This proves that they're guilty, because they admit that they raped and beat up the woman.
The boys are bad kids- they are a gang of mischievous minors. This proves that they could have done it, because if they have a reputation of doing atrocious things then they are capable of doing this horrific crime. In addition, if they are bad kids then what's going to stop them from doing this to a lady. Bad individuals are capable of doing bad things.
Kevin Richardson had a scratch on his face. This proves that he's guilty, because the scratch could have been from the woman trying to get away from the him. She could have been fighting back and the result is a scratch.
The boys were in the park at the time of the attack. In addition, the boys were there when the jogger was brutally beaten. This proves that they are guilty because if they are there at the park when crimes is committed they are suspects. They were there at the exact time and at the exact place. This proves that they could have committed the crime

There was no DNA of either of the boys on the woman- if the boys raped her and hit her some of their DNA could have been on her; however, none of their DNA
