CHAPTER TWO: REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE Starting a new business in any field can be challenging and a risky for the entrepreneur taking on the task. There are many factors to consider when an individual decides to take on this endeavor. Starting a real estate brokerage has its unique challenges. This paper will take a look at starting a new real estate brokerage, the challenges of the industry, and emphasis on strategies for recruiting younger millennials and Gen- Y real estate agents to the brokerage, the literature covers the unique challenges faced for organizations focused on recruiting this demographic.
