I nominate Dr. Nick Lynchard because he’s a very influential teacher and cares deeply about his students. When I tool Psy 101 with Dr. Lynchard he spoke about more than just his subject matter and focused on teaching us things about academia that nobody else does at this level. I’ve never been concerned about how my outward appearance or the way I carried myself would matter in meeting people or getting accepted into better colleges. He taught me about how to get in to graduate school and the politics behind that and what I could expect. James McBride goes to Virginia, back to where his mother lived in order to try and find the purpose for which he is there. Apart from that he learns about his mothers effects on what she has done in her lifetime. Although james McBride goes to speak with James Aubrey, he realizes that when he goes to visit over there all the jewish people would greet him in a kindly manner. In Chapter 22, as James speaks to Rubenstein, he sees the significance of what Aubrey has to say about him. As he meets him Aubrey is astonished to see James, but shows no emotional effect of his presence and personality.
Have you ever just been so fed up with life and just wanted to give up so that you won't have to deal with your problems anymore? Life just seems to be overwhelming. In the book Lessons Learned, I can connect and relate to the main character. I see similar hardships that the character and I have been through. In the novel, Keyshia goes through several problems such as not seeing eye to eye with her mother, being abandoned by her mom throughout her whole 15 years and not knowing her dad until the age 16, and her younger brother Mike being with a dangerous girl.
Reuven Malter, the narrator in Chaim Potoks novel, The Chosen, tells a story about his friendship with Danny. Reuven tells us that there are many differences between the two boys. Their fathers think differently. Reuven’s father, David Malter, is an orthodox Jew who is less strict in the Jewish tradition. Danny’s father Reb Saunders, however, is a stricter Hasidic Jew.
Conflicts Essay In the book “Stones” by William Bell, the main character Garnet faces many conflicts. He struggles with the power of nature, mysteries of the supernatural and conflict within his family. It is how Garnet faces and overcomes each of these conflicts that make him the strong and memorable character that he is.
My character is Sherman Butler. He believes that the government should be very strong and play a huge role in the people's lives, only if they can protect his state's interests. He has chosen that he wants a strong government for various reasons. One reason is that, he has over 80 slaves working for him. If the people cannot have a say against slavery, the government won't do anything differently about the situation and Sherman can keep his slaves.
Three main characters in this story are Irene, Herr Schulz, and Miriam. To begin, Irene is the narrator and author of this book. Irene began this story as a young Polish girl who had the dream of helping people. Then, Irene as a teenager becomes a nurse at the Red Cross which allowed her to be inducted into the war. Irene moved from city to city trying to one day return to her family.
Colonel. Robert Gould Shaw was one of the characters that impacted me the most because of the way he led his soldiers. Robert Shaw showed a lot of courage when he went to ask for 100 socks and shoes and started destroying their office when they didn't give them to him. He did that because he saw the shoes the men were wearing and they were not suitable for them. That shows that he cares for his men and a sense of dignity.

It also tells about the lost gothic girl, Anna Cayne, who meets the young high-school aged narrator. Throughout the postcards, a shortwave radio, various CDs, and many other irregular interest.
The Radicalized Mind Joesph Strorm is a loyal brute, an extremist. He is an unwavering leader to Waknuk and the Repentances. He would sacrifice anything for his religion. Joseph is the kind of character that will do what he believes in with asking anyone one else. He is very cantankerous and hard to deal with and is a huge threat to David.
There are many misconceptions about the autism spectrum disorder and how it is portrayed in the media such as, people who have this disorder cannot reciprocate emotions and does not feel sad or happy. Another myth is people who have this disorder are intellectually disabled. These are all just myths on how autism is portrayed, for this assignment I have decided to choose Dr. Shaun Murphy on the show, Good Doctor. The Good Doctor is a based on a South Korean Drama that has been renewed for an American television show. It is a new show that was released in September 2017.
