One she wants to have friends, two be good at sports and finally to not be embarrassed anymore. First of the most obvious reason why Quarta wants to be normal is that she want’s to have friends because currently no one likes her and she is really lonely. *When she saved Koko she started to strike up a conversation with him, but then Koko walked away when he realised Quarta was talking to him. To add on when she volunteered to find koko the teachers sent two other kids with here because they thought she wouldn’t be able to handle it, any normal kid would’ve been able to go alone. Lastly after she saved koko everybody yelled “freak! Quarta is a freak!” and that made Quarta feel embarrassed that she was called a freak because she had a mindset that people would call her a hero. Quarta wants to not be known as that “2 legged, 2 armed freak” but as a normal kid
