In the play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, gives all the the characters there own personality and traits. After reading the play you can pick out and identify the traits in a character. Knowing these traits will help you understand what the character's thought process was for acting a certain way or making a certain decision. One character in particular that has a stand out trait that make him act differently and sometimes odd is Romeo. Romeo can be sometimes naive or short sighted. The Nurse is a funny bawdy character, she speaks her mind even if it is inappropriate at times or gets her in trouble. One example of this is when she is walking through the streets of Verona. She had her veil blowing in the wind like a ship, this shows that even physically you can tell understand her type personality. Another way that shows the Nurse’s trait is when lady capulet adds the nurse to her consul. The nurse immediately starts into a long story that of course turns into an inappropriate story about Juliet(act1 scene3). The last reason I have for the nurse is when she tells Juliet that Romeo killed Tybalt. But the Nurse makes the mistake to talk bad about Romeo, “No faith, no honesty in men. All perjured, All forsworn, all naught, all dissemblers”
