Charles Darwin is one of the most important scientist in the history of mankind and in the science community. Mostly for his famous experiment called Darwinism with helps contribute to the theory of evolution.This is why so important to the history of mankind,because it helps us understand our origin and how we came to be in this world.He is the reason why we learn about him in school. Naturalist Charles Robert Darwin was born on February 12, 1809, in the tiny merchant town of Shrewsbury, England. He was the second youngest of six children. Darwin came from a long line of scientists. His father, Dr. R.W. Darwin, was as a medical doctor, and his grandfather, Dr. Erasmus Darwin, was a renowned botanist. Darwin graduated Christ's College with a bachelor of arts degree in 1831, Henslow recommended him for a naturalist’s position aboard the HMS Beagle.A ship, commanded by Captain Robert FitzRoy, was to take a five-year survey trip around the world. The voyage would prove the opportunity of a lifetime for the budding young naturalist.This would lead him to the Galapagos Archipelago.When he arrived He saw not a single human was there.So the experiment was there were four parts of the island with the same birds with different becks that the birds use for different food the eat,whether its seeds,worms,certain plants or bugs.Then he would watch the birds on this island for years to come and inspect their lifestyle and how they adapt to different situations.Darwin's exposure to specimens all over the globe raised important questions.
