The definition of cheating is to act dishonestly or unfairly, to break trust all for the purpose of personal gain. How can anyone feel as though cheating is anything but a selfish act. Cheating in my opinion is wrong.

Cheating is wrong. In today's society the notation theory of "I deserve it ideology" has created a society of humans that believe its all about me and I deserve the best at no expense of my own actions. It doesn't matter who I hurt or how I obtain my goals as long as I am taking care of me. Social media enables us to see this ideology being practiced by the people we as a society admire the most, our celebrities, politicians, athletes, entertainers and our spiritual leaders . Enthralled in this fast pace world of social media little cheats that are exposed by our society seem to be played off as socially acceptable. The politician that supports one position to win voters and yet forgets the position as he or she takes office versus the politician that stays true to their promises once elected. The celebrity that gains their stardom by mingling their way into the click of who's who versus the celebrity who worked hours and hours perfecting their craft with honesty and integrity. The spiritual leader who is using their faith to obtain financial and personal gain versus the spiritual leader who uses their position to truly benefit the good of others. Doing what is right not what is easy is far more rewarding than cheating our way to the top. Cheating, even a little white lie comes with consequences. The deception causes stress from the fear of being caught, labeled as being a cheater and not trustworthy.
