In the science sector, there are many arguments whether science is beneficial for humans or is it a curse upon us, this debate is also applicable to child vaccination. Child vaccination is a sensitive health topic that parents and doctors argue about, where some say that vaccination can be harmful for their children, others say that it might prevent their children from getting sick. What is Child vaccination? Child vaccination is the process of injecting dead bacteria or viruses in our body for our immune system to recognise as a pathogen^1 and fight that particular pathogen. Also the pathogen is being recognised by our body for the future, so our body can defeat this particular pathogen faster in the future and a person won’t get the …show more content…

In 2008 over a 130 cases of Measles appeared, the biggest outbreak since 1996, were parents refused to vaccinate their children with MMR because they thought it was related to Autism. However, most of the doctors and scientist believed that it is not related, although Measles can be fatal and very contagious, some parents still refused to vaccinate their children with MMR. Furthermore, in “The Doctors” show Dr.Travis Stork said that it's not an epidemic^2 because there are vaccinations for Measles, but he is afraid of Measles becoming an epidemic disease again, due to parents not vaccinating their children, like years ago when 4 Million people had Measles. Unlike Doctor Travis, Barbara Loe Fisher says that it's not an epidemic according to her statistics. Also, she refers that vaccination is harmful more that it's beneficial for the kids. Not to say that Barbara Loe Fisher stated “ we have more than triple the numbers of doses of vaccines were given to our children in the last quarter century, at the same time we have seen children becoming disabled, and chronically ill. 1 in 6 children in America is now disabled, 1 in 9 have asthma, 1 in 150 develop Autism and 1 in 450 has diabetes, that's the big question, why are so many highly vaccinated children are so sick?”(The
