Some factors that determine how a child develops include family structure, hands-on parental learning, role and relationships in society, school education, race and gender, and nature versus nurture. Children before learning language, use observation to learn about their environment and they look at their surroundings. As children grow, their interactions with family and friends, surrounding environment, and how the school system treats them hold heavy influences on their development.
