During the Holocaust, most of the Jewish children got their privileges revoked. One of the privileges was they were no longer allowed to attend school. Jewish people heard that the Nazis were going around taking Jews from their homes for deportation. At first when the Nazis took the children out of the school and put them on a train to somewhere, their parents thought they would come back, but they did not. Jewish people started to get word of the concentration camps and started to ask other non-Jews to hide them.
The Kinder transport was to save lots of children and it did it saved almost over 10,000 kids. After Adolf Hitler became Germanys leader, he blamed the Jews for the lost of World War 1. However, it was also the end of the foster kids lives as well once Hitler came into power that is (The Gale Group). The Kinder Transport was the Beginning of a fresh way of Foster care but it was involved in a monstrous disaster and ended numerous lives of innocent children, so technically it just happened to be the beginning of the end. The British’s plan was to send foster care kids to their new home with the help of planes, buses, trains, etc. to where they needed to go weather it was school or a new foster home.
