Before the Holocaust the Jewish parents knew that something bad was going to happen, what would really happen to the Jewish children? So they decided to let their children go to a new land to stay safe and live a happy life. The parents wanted to protect kids from the Nazis that were taking over Europe. In the story it states that, "Many people were very worried about the children, especially Jewish children, who were living in Nazi-occupied countries.” In the story, “The Transport that Changed History “ by Kenneth Monroe, It shows how the Jewish in Germany people want their children to be from the Nazi and thats people the made the Kinder transport. The Kinder transport was to save lots of children and it did it saved almost over 10,000 kids. After Adolf Hitler became Germanys leader, he blamed the Jews for the lost of World War 1. Jewish families were concerned about their children because it was not safe in Nazi occupied cities. People in Britain and other European countries responded by saving the children and letting them have a happy life. As a result, many Jewish children where happy but they where homesick, and after the war, some Jewish children where reunited with there family and some became homeless kids because their …show more content…

The Britains woqxuld let the kids come and they would get foster family or become a orphan. If I lived far away from my family for a month I would miss my family and friends and want to see them again and I would try to find them. If you want to get you're parents there they would have to find a job for there parents to come. They also could write messages to the parents and the parents could write back.
