Everyone knows about World War II and who was fighting in the war. World War II was between the Allied Powers who had the United States, Great Britain, France, and China against the Axis Powers who had Germany, Italy, and Japan. The Soviet Union was part of the Axis Powers but when Germany betrayed them, the Soviets went to the Allied Powers. Some people may wonder how some countries got involved such as China and Japan. The Second-Sino Japanese War was the reason why China and Japan got involved. A military conflict between the two countries resulted in a war from July 7, 1937 to September 9, 1945, which was their pathway into World War II.

The war between China and Japan didn’t start immediately. Just like any war or big scale conflict, there are things that help build up to the war. Before the Second-Sino Japanese War, there were minor conflicts and fighting between the countries which started on September 18, 1931 (Wikipedia). This was six years before the actual started.
