A true Christian perspective is one were the individual takes great pride in being self-sufficient. We as Christians should live our lives in a way that prepares and guides ourselves to being self-sufficient. We should stay away from sins that burden or distract us from promoting a stable and functioning life style. Drugs and alcohol, and lust cause the greatest damage to our social and economic stability. We need to take great pride in our work and being honest, hardworking, and wanting to set a good example. I see many people that have jobs and show up for work but they are unmotivated and lack ambition. Their view is to do as little as possible.
