Cindy Graves is an African-American woman who is 5’3, light brown skin, reddish brown hair, freckles on her cheeks, and walnut brown eyes. She is a loving mother of two and has a cheerful and trust personality, willing to help others at a moment’s notice, and understands a situation and deals with is calmly. Cindy is an extreme people’s person, making connection with every person she meets. Friends and coworkers say that Cindy brings the light where ever she goes. Though Cindy has such a bombastic personality she didn’t have the perfect childhood. Cindy was in a family of eight and the second youngest of the five siblings (four sisters one brother). She was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa in Polk County. In 1981 Cindy entered high school and worked hard on becoming a writer for her future. Although she did attend community college for a few classes in English, Creative Writing, and sociology. When she wasn’t taking classes she was in and Equal Women’s Business club. Cindy was a member for four years, who helped and learned from both experienced and nonexperience women improve their education skills to find a higher calling. They also supported women who suffer from low working class treatment from their male employers demanding higher pay and same rights in the work place as their male coworkers. This program helped Cindy increase and improve her work confidence and moved into the transportation world. Cindy was hired as operator for two to three years by a bus company to do data and info on how many passenger were on the bus and drop offs and bus routes. Cindy’s people skills were perfect for this job as she became familiar with the passengers and coworkers even if she saw them only once. She promoted again a year later as a scheduler for five
