Slavery, Abe Lincoln and the Civil War they all played a big role in the fight for freedom of the Blacks. The war started because the Blacks were tired of being treated different from the Whites. Paragraph 1: (strategies) The Blacks were not allowed to attend schools or get a good education like the whites. So they did a type of act called the Civil Rights movement. The Civil rights movement was a type of act that the Blacks did to show that all were created equal. The way they showed that was by going against laws they had for the blacks such as not being able to sit in the front of the bus not being able have an education. This turned out to be a success because a couple years after this there was a desegregation event that lead to no more slavery. So then blacks and whites can finally join together, and blacks don’t have to worry about slavery anymore. Another success was the sit-ins which were where the blacks went in and sat in places that were only there for the whites. But blacks weren’t willing to give up what they were going to fight for, and that was their freedom. Blacks going into schools that were meant for only the whites was a success because that later lead to a good relationship between the whites and blacks, but that was only the kids, unless the kids were lied to by their parents which over 99.9% were but some kids didn’t believe it which was very rare. A failure was the segregation between blacks and whites because no matter what happened the blacks still fought back, which lead to freedom so all the whites did back then was waste time trying to get rid of the blacks. Another failure was the KKK they were a group of people, they were whites, that would go around and try to get the whites to believe that all blacks were bad and didn’t want them around.
