Jerry Spinelli developed Maniac to seem to be a very helpful person in the book. When maniac was living with the beales and Jerry Spinelli made Maniac do this action, “He carried out the trash…” This action showed that Maniac was a helpful person because he was helping Mrs. beale around the house. The next action that Mr. Spinelli gave maniac that showed Maniac was a helpful person was, “ mowed the grass, cleaned up his own spills…”

She was known for her immensely seductive beauty and her tragic love affairs. We should also note that she protected Egypt, which was rich in natural resources, especially gold, for many decades alone and improved the economy of Egypt to a great extent. However, Egypt eventually became the province of the Roman Empire along with her tragic death. In the World History Encyclopaedia, it is stated that "she was simply on the wrong side of a power struggle" (Wasson, 2016).
Although Eve Best’s rendition of Cleopatra can be seen as dichotic to Jolyon Coy’s Caesar at moments, some similarities can be found. The addition of certain actions for Cleopatra help highlight her dutiful nature, whereas some acting choices for Caesar help him relate to Cleopatra. Likewise, the Egyptian character Charmin can be seen acting more logical, similar to the Roman values; and the Roman slaves act unruly and pleasure-seeking, more akin to the typical Egyptian values. By creating this ambiguity of characters, Jonathan Munby highlights the similarities and overlap between the two cultures. Persepolis, an autobiography by Iranian native Marjane Satrapi, illustrates and describes the struggles of one young girl, Marji, as she grows up during the Islamic Revolution and subsequent Iran-Iraq War. Near the end of the graphic novel, a somber panel illustrates an image of a distraught Marji with her mother desperately pulling her away from a bombed building belonging to a family friend, Baba-Levy. Political assassinations play a major role in history and are important to learn from. Although each situation has its own motives and outcomes, one can observe many similarities between these cases. A well-known assassination in history is Julius Caesar, but few people know about Alan Berg’s. Even though these assassinations occurred years apart, they prove to be similar in quite a few aspects. Most political figures gain power over a long time, but some become popular quickly and controversial views arise. This can lead to a series of problems including assassination and is relevant in Caesar’s murder.
Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel Persepolis is a coming-of-age story that shows how the Iranian Revolution changed the lives of Iranian families, and especially how it affected Marjane’s education. The book shows that education can give people the power to fight for change, while also highlighting how political turmoil can disrupt education and lead to violence and oppression. The book shows that education played a key role in the Iranian Revolution. Marjane’s parents were both educated professionals who were active in opposition to the Shah’s regime.

In most fairy tales there are heroes; these heroes are strong, valiant, and steadfast, and they can overcome any obstacles they face;however, not all heroes fall under these stereotypes; some have faults, and sometimes these faults will inevitably lead to their downfall. These heroes are most often known as Tragic Heroes. The Greek philosopher Aristotle describes a tragic hero as "A person who commits errors in judgment, which eventually leads to his downfall." No character better represents this than Marcus Brutus in William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar. Throughout the play, Brutus’ morals never waiver; he represents nobility, fidelity, and has a strong sense of equity;however, Brutus had one fatal flaw and it was his naivety.

Through the use of vivid imagery and impactful words, this scene offers a deeper understanding of the characters and their experiences, and the symbols used in the scene serve to emphasize the significance of the events being portrayed.
