Ethical concerns in clinical trials
The goal of clinical research is to develop knowledge that improves human health or increases our understanding of human biology. People participating in clinical research make this scarce knowledge available to scientists. The way to find out if a new drug or treatment is safe or effective, for example, is to test it on patient volunteers. But this clearly puts a human life at risk for the betterment of others. And it at this place where the Ethical concern comes to the forefront. Taking this into consideration and many of the other issues like exploitation of poor by providing them food and in return getting them to agree to clinical trials are some of the ways of exploitation. In other words, answers to the research question should contribute to scientific understanding of health and human biology or improve our ways of treating, or caring for people with any given disease. Only in that case can the trial be allowed. But this has not clearly been followed where the rules are not so strict. A particular example being: In 2004, doctors at the Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC), established exclusively for treating the victims of the 1984 gas leak, recruited unsuspecting survivors for clinical trials without their knowledge or consent; 14 participants died during the course of the trials.
Scientific validity
It should be made sure that science and ethics do not cross the paths and for this to happen the scientists must value each and every participants equally. They must ask the question ; whether the research methods they are following are valid and feasible or is this just some random experiment that is conducted to test some drug as the volunteers are available in planet.For example Invalid research is unethical because it is a waste of resources and exposes people to risk for no reason.

In the United States, independent evaluation of research projects is done through granting agencies, local institutional review boards , and data and safety monitoring boards.
