Abstract
Article one summary In the article written by Adam Levy, he talks about which companies are investing big in cloud computing. In Microsoft last quarter, Azure grew 127 percent. Azure is a cloud computing platform and infrastructure created by Microsoft. It was build for deploying and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed datacenters. It contains many different programming languages, tools, and frameworks. In the other hand, Amazon Web Services, is a cloud platform. it is nearly a $10-billion-year business. In the last quarter,

Cloud computing is being dubbed as the fifth utility after water, electricity, gas, and telephone utilities. Cloud computing has changed the fundamentals on how it is being used in business, organizations, and individual operations. It is being predicted that cloud computing will become a $127 billion industry by 2020. Cloud computing is the practice of using a network of remote servers on the store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server. It gives universities, firms, and government to have access to the same advanced computer systems. The importance of cloud computing is made possible through resource virtualization, which reduces the cost of infrastructure management. IMB are establishing cloud computing centers in many developing countries such as China, India, Vietnam, South Brazil, South Africa, and South Korea. This will help them stay competitive with the rest of the developed countries. Universities have been forced in the recent years to adopt to cloud computing because they need to cut their costs due to the government budget cuts. Universities do not see the great benefits it can provide. Some of the benefits are greater research, collaboration, and teaching capabilities by leveraging the power of high performing IT infrastructures. Getting adopted to technology helps to drive economic growth and sustain a development within communities. Universties budget seems that every year their budget is being reduced becaue pf the economy. With cloud computing there is not much mainetnace involved. This will reduce the cost becuae it will reduce the amout of IT personnel that are needed to maintain local servers. There would be an easy collaboration between students and faculty because they would have access to information
