Coach Ricardo is someone who is a role model for all ages. Anyone can see a sparkle in the eye of the child or adult he is talking to. Ricardo has a spark in him that makes everyone look up to him. He encourages us to be our best. He has very high expectations for everyone on his soccer teams and pushes us to reach the goals we set for ourselves and the ones he sets for every individual. Many people on my soccer team think they are perfect, therefore they get angered when they get criticized. Coach Ricardo tries his best not to get upset when we don't understand something. He normally calmly explains what we are doing incorrect and helps us persevere until we can't get it wrong. When we do get criticized roughly he always apologizes for being harsh. There have been many things that pulled us together. We were strangers, then friends, but now, we are more like sisters. He helped us get here, we did not do it ourselves. If there is ever a time our bond starts to fall apart, he brings out certain activities that build our trust and bond with each other. He consistently tries his hardest to put the puzzle back together even if he doesn't know what it will look like in the end. He helps us persevere and solve any problem we have because a happy team is a hard working team. This one goes a bit with the one before. Coach Ricardo teaches us to always trust each other. He trusts all of us as a model for us to trust him and others. He helps us through our problems as an individual and as a team. He gives us reason to trust. We don't realize it at times but Coach Ricardo is always there, as we start facing difficulties as a team, he's there to raise us back up.
