There are two animals that are pure natural enemies, the mongoose and the cobra. The cobra mostly comes from Africa, India, and Asia. The cobras bite is very deadly and the cobra also has a hood to make itself look bigger and more frightening. The mongoose mainly comes from Africa and Asia. The mongoose is known for killing snakes with its super fast attacks and reflexes. The cobras usually grow to 18-20 feet while the mongoose grows up to 17-24 inches. When he wakes up a family found him and the father took him inside. They revived him and gave him some banana after he ventured the house. He then fell into a bathtub because of his curiosity and then went to bed. The next day he ventured the garden which was full of birds, snakes, and cobras. Two cobras were the bullies of the garden named Nag and Nagaina who threatens Rikki, the family, and others. Rikki first kills another snake named Karait who was small to protect Teddy, the family was very pleased. He then finds out from Chuchundra the muskrat where Nag was and Rikki kills him in the bathroom. Rikki still knows that he has to kill Nagaina. He makes a plan with the help of Darzee’s wife to smash the eggs and kill Nagaina. So darzee distracts and leads Nagaina away from the eggs by pretending her wing is broken. It works and Rikki smashes all the eggs but one because Darzee’s wife said Nagaina went to go kill the family. Rikki rushes over to save them. He distracts Nagaina with the egg so the family could get away. Then Rikki puts the egg down and fights Nagaina. Nagaina slips away, grabs the egg, and runs away. Rikki catches up to her and bites her tail and follows her into her hole where he kills her and the last cobra egg. The garden was finally safe for
