I think this verse directly correlates with what I hope to find in a college. I hope to find an “and” school that focuses on all three aspects of strengthening my relationship with the Lord--the heart, soul and mind. As stated in the identity statement of the University,Union is “equipping persons to think Christianly and serve faithfully in ways consistent with its core values of being excellence-driven, Christ-centered, people-focused, and future-directed”. Union seems like the perfect place for me to further my journey with God. Union provides top-rated professors that combine excellence with a curriculum centered around Christ. They provide endless service opportunities, chapel/worship time and student resources.Union will allow me the opportunity to find others that will pour life into me, and hopefully I can do the same for others. God calls us to do all three--to love with the mind, heart and soul. I am confident that academically, I will flourish at a school like Union, but more important at the end of my four years I am confident that I will be a better person, more connected to myself, others and God and a light to the world as a result of my time at Union
