Why Is Catholic Education Important To Me?

My Catholic education means so much to me, because if I did not have it I would not be the person I am today. I am so glad that I have the ability to attend a Catholic school, and also attend mass each week. Not everyone has the opportunity to attend a Catholic school and learn many things like I do. Without my Catholic education I would not be able to attend school mass each week with my friends, have religion class and learn about my faith everyday, and most importantly, I would not be able to talk about my faith and God freely in religion class or with my friends.

Being able to attend mass each week is just one of the things that I am thankful for. Going to Mass each Wednesday is a privilege that I am very grateful for. Not everyone gets to have the chance to go to mass each week and receive the body of Christ. Even though sometimes I do not want to go to mass, after I am glad that I went to church. I am thankful that I get to go to Church with my family on the weekends and get to learn more about my faith with my family every Saturday. I am very lucky to be able to attend Mass twice every week.

Having a Catholic education has changed me as a person over the many years I have been at St. Cecilia School. My teachers and friends have taught me so many things about always trusting God, and they have taught me to stay on my path to heaven. Being able to attend a Catholic school is an opportunity of a lifetime and I am very grateful to be able to have that opportunity.
