In my personal opinion, the Common Good is improving the world around you. And while the society is important, I believe to truly advance the Common Good, one needs to improve oneself first in order to exemplify the values and traits that will change the Common Good. Now being at the University of Saint Thomas has always been a dream of mine and when I was accepted, I was jumping for joy! I understand I still have lots to learn, however I believe being at Saint Thomas will help me grow as a person by the interactions I have with my peers.
Now, I have always held myself at a high academic standard and I believe others should too. Even with my involvement in a variety of activities, education remains my first priority. From the very start, I always have challenged myself to be in the most difficult classes

There are so many unique aspects that make God so exciting to learn about! One of the reasons I chose Saint Thomas was because of their Theology requirement and while it may not be on other colleges’ list of requirements, it sure was at the top of mine. Saint Thomas has always been a religious university and I want to help it stay that way by using the chapels and churches on campus and truly spending the time to learn about God. God has always taught us to give to others and I consider giving back to the church and community to be those solutions. That does not mean that we can’t be inclusive of other religions out there. While they don’t have the same religious beliefs, their core beliefs are the same and they all point to us being better people in the end. Being more inclusive is how we can make our community a more understanding and more inclusive. I believe that I can improve the Common Good at Saint Thomas by helping others learn more about Catholicism, while also learning about other religions as well and being more understanding and inclusive of our different beliefs and
