College Admissions Essay: How Junior Year Changed My Life

In life there are many hardship some people go through that shapes them for who they are and why they are who they’ve become. It’s the hopes, dreams, and ambitions that keep me from wanting to learn more about myself, and how far it has made me make decisions to get where I am now. The beginning of Junior year I had to overcome understanding change, and hoping for the best was what I had on my side. I starting Junior year with at least two good friends, and the rest just being mutual friends. Only having those two friends made me feel the most loneliest. I wasn’t urging to fit in with the cool people, or make everyone know my name. I just wanted people to get to know me and not some other assumptions. While everyone was focus on their own lives and their own friends. It made me realize I wasn’t helping myself, and what pushed me up to become even more independent was my hope. What inspired me the most were people who could talk open-mindedly about their own dreams and opinions with not having to lie about it. People who could talk about society, racism, women, equal rights, etc. with not having to worry about what other opinions could change their mind, because it was what they believe in. It was their dream to change something, such as, Grown adults and University students having opinions made from their own intelligence to words. I want my dream to be as beyond and have others look up to me in the future. I knew I love children, helping those in need, and giving advice to friends and families. I was always that student who helped people but didn’t help myself. I always knew what was needed to be done and the outcome of it. I didn’t used my help to others to my own advantage. These mistakes make me who I am and despite little hope I had left, made me into a happier, and more responsible
