One of the greatest privileges that I have is education. I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have education at my disposal. I have grown to love the process of learning a lot in my life. Everything from the long nights of studying to the early mornings of listening to teachers explain the generalities of many concepts that play a crucial role in the fields that are building blocks of the society that we live in today. But though I have a lot of love for the Education, I have always felt like the education system in my community has failed its minorities. There are a variety of reasons for which this has happened, one of them being that for many years education has been controlled from one perspective. This is my goal because I love my city and everything that It stands for and I have always wanted to contribute to its growth in any way that I can. The city gave me a classroom where I could learn the things that would help me understand the world around me. It armed me with the tool of education, that tool has helped me through the darkest periods of my life where I felt like I wasn’t capable, for that I am truly thankful.
