Throughout the first part of the semester we have been reading and discussing various tips to help us survive college. The focal point for such discussions has come through Lynn Jacobs and Jeremy Hyman’s book The Secrets of College Success. Though we read only a few chapters from this book, it is littered with helpful tips that help guide college students become successful in the classroom. Throughout this paper I am going to discuss the three best tips for college success that I resolve to use. I will also discuss why they are important to me, and how I plan on sticking to them.

The first class is Inorganic Chemistry Lab, a class that is medium on the content, and medium on the class-work. Lastly is Molecular Biology, a class that is hard on the content, and hard on the class-work. For these days, I utilize my time management by addressing the most time to Molecular Biology and much less time to Inorganic Chemistry Lab. However, not all assignments expend the amount of time I expect them to. Some assignments take longer while others take less time. If I do not take much time to study then my negligent actions will be reflected on my test score. Similarly, if I do not take much time to review my mistakes and understand the right answers, I will have trouble answering the same questions correctly on semester exams. Utilizing the three test method allows me to ensure that I am getting the most out of the material and perhaps even find correlations in the types of concepts I seem to have be having the most trouble on.
