There are communities are all over Tucson but each one is unique in their own way. Some communities have their own favorite shop where locals go to for various reasons but, there is one shop that has been helping both locals and new shoppers feel like they belonged to the community. Donut King located on Grant and Stone in a local shopping plaza near a low class to middle class neighborhood has been serving customers for over 7 years. There is saying that the more it cost the better it gets, and at Donut King they want to keep prices affordable and still have tasty donuts for everyone. Since they are around a low-class to middle class urban location Donut King tries to keep prices reasonable, and they inform customers when prices are going to rise. Local residents prefer coming to Donut King because it is close and affordable, and don’t want to waste gas going to different parts of town. The profits gained by Donut King helps the local economy, and that helps keep prices low for everyone. Some of them prefer Donut King over others because of the taste. Competitors such as Dunkin Donuts sometimes have their donuts shipped to each individual location which make them have to raise their prices to cover shipping fees, but at Donut King the bakers make them on-site so they save money. Krispy Kreme donuts are popular because they are sold hot, but if they are sold in boxes to retail stores they become cold and won’t taste the same and nearly cost the same as if they were hot. Compared to other donut locations and corporations a price for a dozen it nearly matched to an estimated 8 to 9 dollars, and people are willing to drive to a place that offers great taste and reasonable prices at the Donut
