When you compare the Justice system around the world through punishment, structure, and religion it is typically called comparative justice. There are four legal traditions that most countries work with such as common law, which derived from the British Empire. Common law is still in areas of current or former British territories. The second legal tradition is civil law, which originates in Europe, and is still used in America’s state of Louisiana, and Canada’s Quebec. Even though Canada & the U.
