We were Batman and Robing, Captain America and Bucky—No created to be singular” (lls. 17-20). This quote reveals how strong is the friendship between Stuart and Jackson.
Additionally, Morrison uses parallelism to create a sense of urgency, as she states that this language "must be rejected, altered, and exposed. " The use of parallelism in this paragraph serves to strengthen Morrison's argument and make it more impactful. It also allows her to effectively communicate her message in a concise and clear manner. Exercise 5: The parallelism in this
Morrison first shows readers Robert Smith’s life. Morrison does this when she writes, “They kidded him, abused him, told their children to tell him they were out or sick or gone to Pittsburgh.” (Morrison, 14). Comparing Beowulf to Superman Most everyone has a favorite superhero but few would consider beowulf to be there's, but just how similar is beowulf to a common superhero? Beowulf is basically a traveling hero who goes from country to country slaying monsters that terrorize people. Superman is an alien that comes to earth as an infant and uses his alien powers to do good for mankind. These two characters are similar in that they both do good for mankind and have special abilities, however they are different.
An epic hero and superhero are very alike in many ways. The simplest definition of an epic hero is a brave or noble character in a epic poem, such as Beowulf. For this project there has been a number of things that I will explore to possibly use in my FMP such as the film and Graphic Novel: V for Vendetta. As well as it’s visual aspects it heavily involves political conflict, war and is still relevant to present day due to currents activists named as Anonymous. It explores both non-physical and aesthetic themes which I could explore in depth and experiment with. The book 1984 by George Orwell is also a literary text that I could possibly take into consideration when planning my FMP.
The differences and similarities between Hitman (2007) the movie and Hitman the video game series are striking, and they deserve rigorous examination. While there are some differences between the plot and style of assassinations, they also have some similarities of the well known Hitman suit and the bar code on the back of Agent 47’s head. First, the plot in the movie starts off with Agent 47 who does not have a name because he was raised as an orphan from birth by a shadowy organization named The Agency, who are known to perform assassinations for hire. Agent 47 is trained in all killing skills, which is why the young woman Nika is such a challenge for him. When Nika comes into his life, he is trained to guard against her, but he can not because she is helpless, needy, depends on him, and is a victim like himself.
In both Encanto and Black Panther, we see Mirabel and Erik Stevens dealing with having the sense of not belonging in their respective communities. In Black Panther, the result of this is Erik Stevens aka Killmonger growing up abandoned and in effect, distant from both his culture and extended family, painfully aware that they won’t accept him as warned by his father. In his isolation, he becomes a product of his circumstances living as a black man in America (dealing with the consequences of such) and learning of the injustices that Wakanda could easily prevent whilst they willfully remain uninvolved. Consequently, the present-day Erik Stevens is a morally gray character who’s now vengeful and desensitized to killing- constantly prioritizing

Teachers have a lot of power. They can fail you or send you to the office. Superheroes like Iron Man are also very powerful. They can fly through the air, shoot spiderwebs, and lift heavy objects. When you compare the powers of teachers against the powers of superheroes, it doesn’t even come close: superheroes like Iron Man are much more powerful than teachers like Mr. Moore.
Throughout the years, Beowulf has been compared to many modern day super heroes. However, the super hero that Beowulf is most easily compared to is Superman. Although there are multiple differences amongst these two characters, there are a few similarities as well. Such similarities exist in appearances, as well as supernatural qualities. Moreover, Beowulf and Superman are both portrayed as heroes for their time.

Many valid arguments can be made in favor of each as well as each having it’s own disadvantages, yet the question still remains unanswered. Books and movies have many similarities and differences when it comes to experience, development, and imagery. To begin, there are a variety of reasons that make movies not as good as books. The experience, the depth, and the imagery are the three main aspects one needs in order to understand why movies are not as good as books.
