The spread of Communism and liberal independent movements were built upon these two famous Revolutions which shaped the world as it is known. The French Revolution was considered the spark of European liberal revolutionaries in various countries, where as the Russian Revolution was the first country to implement the ideals of Communism which are still used in the world today by other countries such as China. These two Revolutions were caused for different reasons that had some parallels and some differences, whether being the results or events. When comparing the French and Russian Revolutions, there were certain events that occurred prior to the revolutions where many similarities and differences were inherited.
Prelude of the Revolutions

To begin, France was in a financial crisis at the conclusion of the 18th century. The cause of this was their involvement with the American Revolution which they provided tremendous amount of military aid to help Americans battle the British for the country’s independence. Czar forced Russia to grow industrially overstraining the workers. With the development of industrialization, there was an increase in taxes, land payments, and an increase in population. This caused workers to flee to the countryside to find work because the cities were flooded with mass loads of people and all jobs were quickly swallowed. “The number of workers rose to 1179000 in 1879 and in 1900 amounted to 2208000- tripling the amount of workers” (McGuinness, n.d., p.3). With abandonments and rebellion at the front, Nicholas decided to travel to the front to inspire the troops. In doing so, left his capital absent and revolts against Czar begun (Byas, 2017,
