“ ‘Boom! It was a bomb’ said George Theodorakis”. (Raskin p. 81) Not in the movie it wasn’t. Instead it was a confetti popper in the movie. Making a movie out of the book changes how the story is because of time and money.
If they were to be rated on a scale of 1-10, the book would be about a 7.5 and the movie maybe a 5.5. The movie was not as intriguing as the book. The book catches ones attention by specifying what goes on very clearly and getting straight to the point, not providing any unnecessary information. Let´s just make this short, simple, and to the point, if you watched the movie you would probably not want to read the book since it did not catch enough of ones attention to be interested. On the other hand, if you read the book first and afterwards watch the movie you probably will not appreciate the movie as much as you did the
The Westing Game, a very interesting book with the plot and the character setting aligned perfectly. Yet, the movie and the book, not so matched perfectly. There are many similarities, but also many differences. In my opinion, the book was much better, I think it was better thought out and described. The plot, characters, and book itself was very different and similar at the same time.
The book is in 3rd person point of view, while the movie is told in 1st point of view/ Turtle’s point of view. The point of view changed how the story was told, for example, in the book we got to know everything about the characters, their secrets, their clues, their ideas. But, in the movie, we only get to know what Turtle knows.
And, details were added and deleted in the transition from the book to movie
People always think one is better than the other, and this is why I think the book is better than the movie. Why the book seemed it had more events, and that some of the events in the movie didn’t match the book was by in the book they started on the corner of the street but in the movie it started with Ponyboy writing the theme. The movie also described Johnny and Ponyboy different than in the book. It said
In the book they didn't talk about when everybody was saying LeAlan and Lloyd was getting punked by David. I think they didn't put that in the book because David Isay wasn't a important character. Also because he never was in the book and that conflict was mostly affecting him. Another thing that happened in the movie but not in the book is that LeAlan is starting to believe everything the people was saying about David but Lloyd didn't.
There are many simularities and differences in the book and movie " The
In the end I found the film to be easier to understand vs the book as it was an easier and more straight forward plot line whereas in the book it seemed to jump around leading to constant flipping between stories and pages to get a better
Have you read “The 5th Wave” book or seen the movie? They are both great and even though they are both the same thing I will be talking about which one I think is better to either read or watch. The 5th Wave, by Rick Yancey is about a Cassie, a girl who is trying to survive an alien apocalypse while attempting to rescue her brother Sammy. I personally think the movie is a better option because the movie is more suspensefull than the book because the movie has more detail and description and more suspenseful plots. I think that the movie is more powerful because more detail and descriptions are shown in the movie than the book.
Now let see how the book and movie different and same. The book and the movie are different. Also there the same too. In the book Mr. Harvey get rid of the body right way.
One comparison between the movie and book version is the darkness of the setting and the time in which it takes place. In both versions, the story takes place mostly at night, which is when all the action happens. The book also characterizes the setting as dark and the movie shows the darkness. The book and movie versions of
Thirteen years later, the movie “Fahrenheit 451” was made in 1966. There are 3 major differences between the book and the film in my opinion. The first difference is the actual settings of the two features. The second difference is the war. It is a major turning point and event that helps the reader stay with the story within the novel, but during the movie it really isn’t very important.
Battle to the Death: Cinema Vs. Novel Some of the best movies are based on books. One movie based on a book is The Hunger Games. While the movie is entertaining, it is very different from the book.
With the novel’s immediate success, filmmakers found it fitting to bring the story onto another platform: a movie. The novel and the movie present clear differences,
