Platform workers have been organizing for benefits, better wages and working conditions in a variety of different ways. Two major ways platform workers are organizing for justice are through traditional unions and digital platform organizing. Traditional unions include workers coming together as a collective to bargain with their employer for benefits, better wages and working conditions. Eidlin argues that although traditional unions have been an effective way to organize justice, they might not be enough to address the issues that workers face in the present economy.
