Booker T. Washington v.s. W.E.B. Dubois

Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. Dubois are more different than you think. I know they were both pretty similar but they were also different. They both had one main similarity and one main difference. So although they were both civil rights leaders they had different approaches on how blacks should earn their freedoms.

To begin with, Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. Dubois are similar. For example, they were both African American. They were both writers as well. One book Dubois wrote was “The Souls of Black Folks” and Washington wrote “Up From Slavery.” Booker and W.E.B. were both educators meaning they were teachers. Therefore, they were similar, but most importantly they were both civil rights leaders.
